White Balsamic Vinaigrette

A light, tangy, and slightly sweet salad dressing made with white balsamic vinegar, perfect for greens, roasted vegetables, or grain bowls.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup white balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl or jar with lid
  • Whisk or fork (if using a bowl)
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together white balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, and minced garlic.
  2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking constantly, until emulsified.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a jar, seal, and shake vigorously until combined.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or acidity to taste.
Add fresh herbs like basil, parsley, or thyme for variation.
Shake or whisk before each use as separation may occur.
