Ingredients
  

For the Beef
  • 1 lb Beef (your choice of cut), sliced thinly Tender cuts like flank steak or sirloin work best.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 small Onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • Optional toppings: Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing your beef into thin strips. The thinner the strips, the quicker they'll cook.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, pepper, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sliced onions. Sauté until they become translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Increase the heat to high and add the marinated beef strips to the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the beef is cooked through and slightly browned.
  3. Remove from heat and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat by placing the beef in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or broth.
