Method
Prepare the Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
Knead the Dough
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.
First Rise
- Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, covering it with a cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
Shape the Rolls
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a floured surface. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are close together.
Second Rise
- Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 20 minutes until they puff up.
Bake the Rolls
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter for that extra, mouthwatering finish!

Notes
