Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it’s fully cooked. Drain any excess fat. If adding onions and bell peppers, toss them in now and sauté until soft.
- Stir in the Sloppy Joe sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and cut the dough into quarters.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground beef with the biscuit pieces. Gently fold in half of the shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the casserole.
Baking
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit tops are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
