Preparation
- Grease a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
- Once melted, add the marshmallows to the saucepan. Stir constantly until they fully melt and create a smooth mixture.
- Remove the saucepan from heat, then add the Rice Krispies and crushed Oreos. Stir gently to coat evenly.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula (or your hands, if they’re greased) to press the mixture evenly into the pan.
- Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Optionally, top with extra crushed Oreos before fully setting.
- Once set, cut into squares and enjoy your delightful Rice Krispie Treats with Oreos!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before enjoying again.
