- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, water, salt, and garlic powder. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and quickly stir in the flour until fully incorporated, creating a smooth mixture.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time until it’s glossy and well mixed.
- Fold in the shredded cheese, ensuring it’s evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Use a spoon or piping bag to drop small dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each dollop.
- Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. For freezing, shape dough puffs and freeze for up to a month, baking from frozen with additional time.
