Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
Frosting and Decoration
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Once the cupcakes are cool, pipe a generous swirl of frosting on each.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup, sprinkle with toppings, and finish with a cherry on top!
