  • 1 lb chicken sausage, sliced Feel free to use turkey or plant-based sausage.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli for optimal crunch.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing the sausage.

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until lightly browned, around 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Add the broccoli florets and pour the honey-garlic sauce over everything. Stir well to coat and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  4. Return the cooked sausage to the pan, stir everything together, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Cook for another minute to heat through.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat and enjoy the dish warm!

Notes
