Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, stretching it into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the dough, then layer on your chosen toppings: pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Add Italian seasoning.
- Starting from one end, tightly roll the dough into a log and pinch the edges to seal.
- Cut the log into even-sized rolls, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops lightly with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden and crispy.
- Let them cool for a few minutes, then serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Experiment with different fillings, such as cheddar or veggie options. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
