Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth, and the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour the ice cream base into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Churning
- Pour your chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually for around 20-30 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
Serving
- Scoop and enjoy with your favorite toppings!
Notes
