  • 1 large pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup choice of toppings pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, olives, etc.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out your pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan, ensuring it covers the bottom and sides evenly.
  3. Spread pizza sauce directly onto the crust, making sure to cover every inch.
  4. Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add your choice of toppings generously.
  6. Season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper as desired.
  7. Sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve!

Notes

Serve with a fresh garden salad, garlic bread, or sparkling lemonade. Feel free to experiment with different crusts and toppings to suit your preferences.
