  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced (button, cremini, or shiitake)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Cooking Essentials
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your cauliflower into manageable florets.
  2. Slice the fresh mushrooms and mince the garlic.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it’s shimmering.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the pan. Season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until they start to soften.
  3. Next, toss in the sliced mushrooms. Continue to cook for 5 more minutes, stirring frequently until the mushrooms are tender and releasing their juices.
  4. Finally, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the wonderful aroma to fill your kitchen.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Once everything is cooked to your liking, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with flavors by adding herbs like thyme or rosemary. You can also add Parmesan cheese for a savory touch. This dish is great for meal prep; consider roasting a double batch for leftovers. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
