  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Ensure the butter is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste for a stronger garlic flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped Can be substituted with other herbs if desired.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) Leave out if not preferred.

Preparation
  1. Ensure the butter is softened for optimal mixing.
  2. Mince the garlic and chop the parsley finely to enhance the flavor.
Mixing the Spread
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
Blending
  1. Using a fork or a hand mixer, blend the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and creamy.
Taste Test
  1. Taste the spread and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Add more garlic if desired.
Refrigeration
  1. Transfer the spread into an airtight container or shape it into a log wrapped in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
