Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice, but penne works best)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank, sliced thin)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method

Cooking the pasta
  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the steak
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, season the sliced steak with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it’s cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the heat and allow to rest.
Making the sauce
  1. In the same skillet (don’t wash it!), mix together buffalo sauce and heavy cream, adding honey to balance the flavors. Stir until combined and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Combining ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, seared steak, and creamy sauce. Stir until the pasta and steak are well coated.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the shredded cheese. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnishing and serving
  1. Remove from the oven, sprinkle fresh parsley on top, and let it cool slightly before serving.
