Ingredients

For the Tenders
  • 1 lb chicken tenders Fresh or thawed if frozen.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix For added flavor.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Used in sauce.
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken tenders with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and chicken broth. Mix until well blended and creamy.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken tenders and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Pour the creamy sauce mixture over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir well to coat the tenders and let the sauce simmer for about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover the skillet until the cheese has melted, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it juicy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
