Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden, but the centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, don’t overmix the dough after adding flour and consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
