  • 4 pieces ripe peaches Select ripe, sweet peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon For a stronger flavor, add nutmeg or cardamom.
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted) Brush over the peaches.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pit.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Place the peach halves, cut-side up, in a baking dish.
  5. Brush the melted butter over the peaches.
  6. Generously sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the peach halves.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the peaches are tender and caramelized.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat for a quick treat.
