  • 1 pound ground beef Opt for 80/20 for juicier sliders.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For gooey, melty goodness.
  • 12 pieces slider buns Cut in half for assembly.
  • 1/2 cup diced onions Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles Optional, for added crunch.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • to taste mustard and ketchup For serving.

Preparation
  1. Begin by finely dicing your onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Season it with salt and pepper, breaking it up as it cooks. Brown the meat for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, add the diced onions and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onions are soft and translucent.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture, stir gently, and allow it to melt for a minute.
  5. Cut your slider buns in half. Spoon the chopped cheeseburger mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, top with pickles, mustard, and ketchup as desired, then place the top halves of the buns on.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
