  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Can substitute with mascarpone for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cherry flavoring or extract
  • 1/2 cup cherry pie filling (optional for garnish)
  • to taste Red sprinkles (optional for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Set up your workspace with all ingredients laid out for easy access.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and cream cheese.
  2. Microwave on high in short intervals (15-30 seconds), stirring frequently until smooth and creamy.
Add Flavor
  1. Stir in the cherry flavoring or extract until well combined.
Coat the Cereal
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.
  2. Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently folding to coat evenly.
Dust with Sugar
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar with the coated cereal until everything is nicely coated.
Garnish
  1. For an extra touch, add dollops of cherry pie filling and sprinkle red sprinkles over the top for added flair.
