Preparation

- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until smooth and well-blended.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in butterscotch chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
