  • to taste sprinkle sea salt For finishing touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the pretzels in a single layer on a large baking sheet, ensuring they are well-spaced for even coating.
Cooking
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Allow the mixture to boil for 1-2 minutes without stirring, letting it thicken.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda. The mixture will bubble up.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels, using a spatula to coat them evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. While still warm, sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
  7. Once completely cooled, break the toffee pretzel clusters apart and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. To store longer, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. To recrisp, heat in the oven for a few minutes.
