Blueberry Brownies

Rich, fudgy brownies baked with juicy blueberries for a fruity twist on a classic dessert. The perfect balance of chocolate indulgence and fresh berry sweetness.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries plus extra for topping
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional, for extra richness

Equipment

  • 8x8-inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk and spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until combined.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in blueberries and chocolate chips (if using).
  5. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle extra blueberries on top.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

Frozen blueberries can be used—just don’t thaw before adding.
For extra decadence, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
