- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in blueberries and chocolate chips (if using).
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle extra blueberries on top.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
Frozen blueberries can be used—just don’t thaw before adding.
For extra decadence, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
