Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well incorporated.
- Add the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and gently mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing; you want those biscuits to be light and fluffy!
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently 3-4 times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
- Using a biscuit cutter, cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Once baked, brush the tops with melted butter for that ultimate indulgence. Enjoy them warm!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze unbaked biscuits for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen when ready to enjoy.
