  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure it's not too hot.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 pieces eggs
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  6. Sprinkle slivered almonds over the batter in each cup.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For optimal results, ensure melted butter isn't too hot, and don't overmix the batter. Feel free to add almond extract or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
