Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk them well until combined.
- Pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
- Use a spoon or your hands to scoop out portions of dough and shape them into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).
- Arrange the formed dough balls on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, giving them a little room to rise.
Baking
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
- After taking them out of the oven, brush some melted butter over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley if desired!
Notes
Don’t Over-Mix: The dough should be just combined; a few lumps are okay. Warm Milk: Slightly warm the milk before adding it to the dry ingredients to help the dough rise better. Rest the Dough: If you have an extra 5 minutes, let the dough rest before shaping for fluffier rolls. Experiment with Cheese: Switch it up with mozzarella or cheddar cheese for different flavors.
