WATCH: Kristi Noem Announces Identification, Firing of FBI Leaker Who Aided and Tipped Off Tren de Aragua about ICE Raids

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem recently announced that she has discovered the alleged leakers within the federal government who tipped off the criminal Tren de Aragua gang about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids. Noem maintained that the individuals in question would be fired.

Noem and Trump administration border czar Tom Homan have slammed the leaks that tipped off the illegal alien criminal organization, illustrating how they put innocent law enforcement lives at risk aside from subverting the rule of law.  Reports indicate that the leakers compromised raids around the country in cities such as Aurora, Colorado, and Los Angeles, California.

“I have found some leakers, we’re continuing to get more,” Noem said on Fox News Monday evening.  “They will be fired. There will be consequences of remembering that when they leak information to the press in order to blow it up, they are putting law enforcement’s lives in jeopardy. They are risking their lives and putting their families in the position where they have to live without those individuals any further.”

Outlining tactics to hold the leakers accountable, she continued, “So you bet we have used every tactic that we have. If you remember, we talked just last week about how I’m using polygraphs to go after and to really interview these folks. Because we are a national security agency, I have that tool I can use also looking at their emails, looking at their communications.”

Noem concluded, “And it’s amazing how these bureaucrats who have an agenda to stop they work that we’re doing to bring the safety to America, how they will sell each other down the river if it’s just to protect themselves, so don’t worry I am doing everything to find these leakers and to get rid of them so that we can do our work and our law enforcement officers and agents can do it safely.”

The American Tribune reported on comments from Attorney General Pam Bondi commenting on the leaks that compromised the ICE raids.  “I can’t talk about anything ongoing, of course, but what I will say and to explain to you and the American people why this is so wrong and so illegal,” she said.

Bondi continued, “Anytime you leak anything about a pending investigation, what do you do? You jeopardize the lives of our men and women in law enforcement who are going in there to make these arrests.”  She added, “It’s dangerous enough making these arrests, yet when you leak it and give criminals a heads up that they are coming, it could jeopardize lives, and that is illegal, and we will not tolerate it in the FBI, in any department within the United States government.”

Border czar Homan said about the matter, “We think it’s coming from inside. Some of the information we’re receiving tends to lead toward the FBI. But I talked to the Deputy Attorney General all this weekend. They’ve opened up a criminal investigation, and they have promised that not only this person lose their job and lose their pension, they will go to jail, they’re going to criminally prosecute.”
